Current Research

My main research interest is the underlying neurobiology of maternal behavior, including maternal aggression, and stress coping with respect to inborn emotionality. Here, I focus on the role of yet less investigated brain neuropeptides using techniques such as microdialysis, retrodialysis, osmotic minipumps, viral vector-mediated gene transfer, in situ hybridisation, receptor autoradiography, blood sampling.
